Linda Haac is available for teaching workshops and seminars, serving as a writer-in-residence and as a visiting writer in the schools. Currently, she conducts memoir workshops on a regular basis.

Over the years, Linda Haac has taught writing, speaking and performance, and is an expert on the art of memoir and the personal essay. Her other specialty areas include "writing as performance" and "writing about place." She has taught at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has also taught one-day workshops in North Carolina public schools, both for high-school students preparing to write college essays and for younger students practicing the art of writing. In addition, she has led seminars on American culture for Japanese businessmen. She is able to engage all age groups from undergraduates to adult learners, as well as international students and children.

Linda Haac has a Master’s Degree in Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a specialty in performance studies -- the number one program of its kind in the nation.
